The state's gaming sector generated a total of $132.3 million in tax revenue during this period, compared to $88.9 million recorded in the previous fiscal year.
Betting Handle and Taxable Wins
The total sports betting handle for June reached $523.3 million. Online platforms accounted for the majority of this volume with $515.4 million, while retail sportsbooks processed $7.96 million. The taxable win for the month totaled $38.2 million, split between $37.9 million from digital operators and $346,040 from physical locations.
Casino Performance in June
Maryland Lottery and Gaming data indicates a slight decline in casino performance for the same month. The state's six casinos generated $156.8 million in revenue, representing a 2.4% decrease compared to June 2025. Consequently, gaming contributions to the state budget fell to $67.9 million, a 0.9% drop year-over-year.
